Directions to Savoy Medical Center

Directions from the Lafayette airport to Savoy Medical Center through Opelousas:

When leaving the Lafayette airport, turn left onto Surrey Street. Go to the first red light and turn right onto Highway 90 North. Travel through Lafayette, after you pass under the I-10 overpass, this highway becomes I-49. Travel to Opelousas. Take the Opelousas Exit for Highway 190 West. Travel through Opelousas. Stay on 190 until you get to the City of Eunice. You will turn right at a red light at the intersection of Highway 13 and 190. You will be traveling North on Highway 13. Approximately 11 miles north of Eunice is the Town of Mamou. Pass through Mamou until you see the blue hospital sign (H). This is Highway 1160, or Poinciana Avenue. turn right at this sign. Go past the first stop sign and the hospital is on the left.

Directions from the Lafayette airport to Savoy Medical Center through Crowley/Eunice:

When leaving the Lafayette airport, turn left onto Surrey Street. Go to the first red light and turn right onto Highway 90 North. Travel through Lafayette until you get to the I-10 ramps. Take I-10 West (Lake Charles). Travel to the City of Crowley. Take the Highway 13 exit in Crowley. Turn right and continue North on Highway 13. You will pass through the City of Eunice, turning left once and then right to stay on Highway 13. Continue traveling North. Approximately 11 miles north of eunice is the town of Mamou. Pass through Mamou until you see the blue hospital sign (H). This Highway 1160, or Poinciana Avenue. turn right at this sign. Go past the first stop sign and the hospital is on the left.

Directions to I-49 from Alexandria International Airport:

From the Airport, turn left onto Billy Mitchell Blvd. To Thunderbird Drive. This should take you to England Drive. England Drive will take you to Airbase Road and straight to I-49. Go South.

Since this is a new airport, the signs may not be the usual street signs. Be prepared for temporary signage.

Directions from I-49 to Savoy Medical Center:

From I-49 South, take the Turkey Creek/Meeker exit (Highway 167/13). Turn right off exit to continue South. In Turkey Creek, Highways 167 and 13 will split. You will need to stay straight on Highway 13. (Highway 167 veers left). Continue on Highway 13. You will cross a major intersection, Highways 10 & 13, a 4-way stop, approximately 13 miles out of Turkey Creek. Continue straight again. Approximately 304 miles down, you will see large, white, grain elevators on the left. You will turn left on the next paved road past the elevators. This is Highway 1160 or Poinciana Avenue. There is small highway road sign symbolizing Hospital (H). Go 1 block past the first stop sign. The hospital will be on the left.
